Meghan Markle’s Christmas ‘ultimatum’ for Prince Harry as couple plunged into ‘panic’

After being parodied in an episode of Family Guy, Meghan Markle reportedly gave Prince Harry an ultimatum as Christmas approached.

The animated satire portrayed Prince Harry and Meghan lounging by a pool while a butler delivered their “millions from Netflix for… no one knows what.” In the scene, cartoon Harry replies, “Put it with the rest of them,” while cartoon Meghan says, “Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.”

According to insiders, the episode left the Sussexes in “panic mode.” A source revealed that the parody “cut the pair deep,” with the portrayal hitting especially hard as it highlighted the notion of them being “self-entitled grifters or spoilt brats.” The source added, “Meghan said she won’t be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution.”

The couple reportedly felt the parody reflected a broader shift in public opinion, with the source claiming, “The tides have turned against them in America.” While Meghan wasn’t planning to ask for help from the royal family “after everything that’s happened,” she hoped Harry would reconcile with King Charles and Prince William.

The insider continued, “Meghan has distanced herself from the furore for months, but now she’s giving Harry an ultimatum and demanding that he do whatever it takes to fix things.”

For Christmas, the Sussexes stayed in Montecito, California, with their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, along with Meghan’s mother, Daria Ragland.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Meghan spoke about how their holiday traditions have evolved since moving to the U.S. She shared her excitement over how her children are starting to grasp the magic of the season. “Every year it gets better as they understand more,” Meghan reflected. “At first, as a mum, you’re just enjoying having them there, but now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”

Speaking about Thanksgiving, Meghan added, “We always make sure there’s something fun to do. Like any other family, you have a great meal, then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff. Someone brings a guitar—fun.”
